The Tohono O’odham Nation Cultural Center & Museum [Himdag Ki:] is a monument to the longevity and ancient spirit of the O’odham. We honor our O’odham ancestors by keeping a record of their good deeds. These records can manifest as footprints in the earth or as documentary evidence of our artistic/intellectual expressions. These are all stories that inform us who we are.
This manuscript titled A:cim O’odham commemorates the 10 year anniversary of this museum and declares our deeds as people: “We the O’odham.”
This project was made possible by the generous support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
